Will | In the name of God amen—the 16th Day of September Anno Domini 1751 I William Wadsworth of Farmington in the County of Hartford & Colony of Connecticut in New England being of perfect mind and memory Thanks be given unto God, yet calling to mind the mortellity of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament That is to say Principally and first of all I give & recommend to the Earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my executor nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall reserve the same again by the mighty power of God, and as trusting[?] such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give demise & dispose of the same in the following manor & form — Imprimis I give unto my five grandchildren viz: Mary Root, Felix Root, Abigail Root, Jos. Root, & Abigail Porter wife of Joseph Porter to each of them ten pounds (old tenor) and all those of my grandchildren ebeuest[?] that shall be of lawful age at my decease the requested sums to be paid them within one year after by my executr and those that shall be in their minor age to be paid them their parts as above given when they shall come to lawful age — and the rest of my personal estate & all my goodes, house buildings &c: and all my land & reel estate I give & bequest unto my son William Wadsworth his heirs & assigns forever, and I Consitite[?] and appoint my son William Wadsworth Executor of this my last will & testament and I do herby disanull, reusak[?] and desanull, all & every other former testator will legal, bequests and executors by me made named willed & requested ratifying & confirming this & no other to be my last will and testament for witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the say & year above written signed sealed published pronounced & delered[?] by the william Wadsworth as his last will and testament in the presence of us the subscribers.
